When We Are Closed
The surgery is closed at weekends and on bank holidays. If you need to speak to a doctor or nurse out of hours health advice is available from the NHS Direct website or telephone helpline. If you need emergency assistance for a life threatening condition dial 999 to request an ambulance.
For all other medical advice when the surgery is closed dial 01306 882422 and you will be directly connected to Thamesdoc. You will either be offered telephone advice or asked to attend a primary care centre for further review.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
