Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Sue Rees (f)
Sue Rees is a qualified Nurse Practitioner and as such is an alternative first point of contact for patients suffering with minor ailments and injuries, such as chest, eye and ear infections, simple sprains and backache.
In addition to her role as a Nurse Practitioner, Sue has a special interest and training in diabetes. She runs a weekly diabetic clinic with Dr Tomlinson

Nurses

The Practice Nurses undertake a wide range of nursing duties including dressings, blood tests, ECG's, smears, ear syringing. In addition each nurse has an area of special interest. Carol and Nikki also offer travel advice and vaccinations.

Practice Management

Miss Kirstine Hall

lucy_003 Kirstine Hall, our practice manager is responsible for the efficient administration of Medwyn Surgery. Her aim is to provide expert and friendly healthcare to you and your family. Your suggestions and ideas are always welcome.

Administration

Our administration team support the clinical and reception staff in managing the day-to-day running of the surgery. They provide an essential role in helping you with your queries and ensure the efficient functioning of the surgery.

Reception

Our reception staff provide your first point of contact with the surgery. They are here to support both the clinical team and yourselves. They are here to deal with your enquiries and will make every effort to help you.

Community Midwives

Midwives from East Surrey Hospital hold twice weekly antenatal clinics at the surgery. All aspects of care for your pregnancy are provided including parentcraft classes. There is also a health visitor attached to Medwyn Surgery. She is able to provide advice on all aspects of your childs development, as well as providing support for new mums.

Community Nurses

The district nurse team are employed by Central Surrey Health. Their priority is to those patients who are housebound; assessing their diverse needs, delivering care and liaising with the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
